Iron-aluminum door locks, as a low-to-medium-quality door lock, are composed of iron panels and aluminum alloy handles. Relatively speaking, the price-performance ratio is superior among many materials, and has always been the most sold in the international market.
This type of door lock is mainly used for indoor doors and anti-theft doors. The Middle East and African markets mainly import 58 and 85 hole pitches, while the European and American markets are more 72 and 85 hole pitches.
The quality difference of iron aluminum lock:
- The quality of iron panels, now our factory mainly produces iron panels with thickness of 1.0mm and 1.5mm, which are of higher quality in the same kind of door locks. The low-quality iron-aluminum door lock is mainly used with a thickness of 0.8mm, and the panel will be softer, but at the same time the price will be cheaper, so which one is better depends on the buyer’s budget.
- The quality of the aluminum handle. The aluminum handle is integrally formed by the die-casting machine, melts the aluminum alloy raw materials, and then makes various styles by the die-casting machine. The aluminum handles currently produced by our factory are all between 100-120g, the handles are solid, very durable and there will be no problems such as breakage. The low-quality iron-aluminum door lock will make the handle hollow by making the handle light, or modifying the mold, so that about 20% of the aluminum alloy raw material can be saved, and the cost will be greatly reduced. However, this method will make the handle very brittle, and it will break after many switches.
- Surface treatment, the iron-aluminum door lock produced by our factory is the same as the full zinc alloy door lock. The two polishing before production and the five-layer electroplating in production ensure that it will not be used by domestic water or in daily use. The sweat on the hands is corroded.
